Support News Question Types
In this update, uPresenter supports 3 more question types which are Matching, Hotspot, and Labeling questions. You can find them by clicking the Questions button on the left menu.

Matching Question
A Matching question, also known as a Drag and Drop question, consists of two columns or rows. One contains ‘prompts’ or ‘items’ (e.g., terms, names, images), while the other contains ‘responses’ or ‘matches’ (e.g., definitions, dates, descriptions). The user’s task is to drag and drop items to form correct pairs. This question type is commonly used in quizzes and assessments to test knowledge and understanding of relationships between concepts.
Example:
Education: Connecting authors to their literary works.
Corporate training: Matching workplace safety signs with their meanings.
Geography: Matching countries with their capitals.

Hotspot Question
A Hotspot question is an interactive question type where users select specific areas on an image as their answer. It is commonly used in assessments to evaluate visual recognition, spatial awareness, and knowledge of key image elements.
Example:
Geography: Identifying locations on a map.
Medical training: Pointing out body parts or organs.
Engineering/Design: Selecting correct parts of a machine or diagram.

Label Question
A Label question is similar to a Hotspot question, as both require users to identify specific areas on an image. However, instead of clicking on a predefined area (as in Hotspot questions), users drag and drop labels from a list onto the correct locations within the image. This question type is widely used in assessments to test knowledge of diagrams, structures, or visual elements, making learning more interactive and engaging.
Example:
Science & Biology: Labeling body parts, plant structures, or chemical diagrams.
Engineering & Design: Identifying machine components or architectural elements.
Geography: Labeling countries, landmarks, or map features.

Add Question Feedback Response
uPresenter introduces instant feedback for questions in this update, providing users with Correct or Incorrect responses immediately after answering. When a user selects the right answer, a confirmation message appears. If the answer is incorrect, feedback helps clarify mistakes, allowing users to learn and improve in real time.
Instant feedback is crucial for effective learning as it reinforces correct knowledge, enhances engagement, and prevents misunderstandings from becoming long-term errors. By immediately addressing mistakes, users can adjust their thinking, stay motivated, and retain information more effectively.
You can find this option by selecting the question area, then click Question on the right pane > Show Feedback.

Support Edit Objects on the Canvas
Editing objects is now more intuitive and seamless with the ability to move, rotate, and resize them directly on the Canvas. With these enhancements, adding personal touches to your presentation becomes more convenient than ever. Whether fine-tuning layouts, aligning visuals, or making last-minute adjustments, you can now customize your slides with ease, creating more engaging and polished presentations.
Add More Image Models for Generating Images
uPresenter has expanded its AI-powered image generation capabilities by integrating additional models. These models improve the quality, variety, and accuracy of generated images, giving users more options to create visuals that match their presentation content.

Improve the Generate Presentation with AI Dialog
In addition to introducing new features, uPresenter also updates the Generate with AI dialog, giving it a cleaner and more professional design for a smoother user experience.

Now, when you click the Generate Outline button, uPresenter will create an outline and display it on the same page alongside the template collection. This streamlined layout provides a consistent, visually cohesive experience, making it easier to follow.
