Part X: Interactions, Animations, And Transitions

Motion and interactivity should help a learner understand or choose what happens next. Part X explains how to connect events to actions, configure branching and feedback, animate objects, control movement between slides, and use variables and conditions to respond to learner progress.

Topics

  1. Build Interactions
  2. Configure Action Settings
  3. Animate Objects
  4. Add Slide Transitions
  5. Use Variables
  6. Set Action Conditions

Start with interactions when a learner should reveal content, choose a path, control media, or receive feedback. Use object animations to direct attention within a slide, and use transitions to shape movement from one slide to the next. Always test the finished sequence in Present so timing and behavior make sense outside the editor.

For a lesson that remembers choices or branches on progress, continue from action settings to Use Variables and Set Action Conditions. These topics explain custom values, read-only system values, Adjust Variable, and action-level AND/OR rules.
